Christine Crispino is a Senior Associate Attorney with Shankman Leone. Her practice at Shankman Leone focuses primarily on franchise and transactional matters involving contract drafting, negotiation, compliance, and counseling. Christine is able to apply her legal background, the knowledge gained from her MBA, and previous law firm and corporate experiences, to provide business-savvy, practical advice to clients in various industries.

Christine attended the University of Florida where she graduated with a major in Journalism and a minor in Portuguese language and literature. She then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, she participated in the John Marshall Bar Association and semester exchange program in Montpellier, France studying business law.
After receiving her Juris Doctorate, Christine attended the University of Tampa Sykes College of Business where she received her Master of Business Administration. She applied those skills while acting as the Practice Administrator at Tampa Heart Center, Inc., providing operational assistance, work on employment matters, and managed-care contracting.

Prior to joining Shankman Leone, Christine had her own practice, as well as acting as in-house transactions counsel for Checkers and Rally’s Restaurants’ nationwide headquarters. While working in-house, she closely worked with, advised, and closed transactions involving supply chain, distribution, marketing, trademark, commercial real estate, franchise compliance, and all aspects of franchise sales.

Christine was born in Londrina, PR (Brazil) and has spent most of her life split between Iowa and Central Florida. She is fluently bilingual, speaking both Brazilian Portuguese and English. In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
