Joshua Kersey’s practice focuses on management-side labor and employment matters, along with the enforcement and limitation of restrictive covenants in employment agreements, trade secret litigation, franchisor/franchisee disputes, and general business litigation. Josh advises employers in a broad range of employment and labor law matters under federal, state and local law, including representing clients before administrative agencies including the EEOC, the Department of Labor, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, as well as state and local civil rights and wage and hour agencies across the nation.

With bachelor’s degrees in both finance and real estate, Josh brings to his clients an elevated understanding of the economic realities of operating a business. Using this knowledge, Josh prides himself on his ability to identify more quickly the true needs and concerns of each client, and to then develop a business solution that is best fit to address that client’s legal issue. Because of his unique educational background combined with his legal background, Josh is often invited to speak at Continuing Legal Education conferences and has authored and co-authored numerous publications.
