Jackson Ford is an Associate Attorney with Shankman Leone. Jackson’s practice is primarily focused within Shankman Leone’s Business Litigation and Franchise Law practice groups.

Jackson received his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. During his time as a law student, Jackson clerked for a U.S. Senator and gained significant courtroom experience by advocating for low-income tenants facing evictions in the Chicago suburbs.

Jackson’s legal experience also includes serving as a legal intern for the Bloomington City Legal Department, where he played an integral role in combating the Indiana Attorney General’s effort to dismiss a declaratory action brought by the city in state court against the Indiana Governor. Jackson has extensive experience representing businesses and individuals in court proceedings regarding breach of contract, premises liability, general negligence, environmental, secured transactions, and shareholder actions.

In his spare time, Jackson enjoys spending time with his family and golden doodle, Hoosier, at their home in downtown St. Pete, eating at the many great restaurants on Central Avenue, reading history and philosophy, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field.
